about

Observations from a wordsmith
A bystander
The wave of a hand
A whisper
A repeated piano note coming from the house next door
A long soft sigh
The depth and angst of love
A train clacks across the tracks
A taxi driver slams the car horn
And swears in Italian
Loss and dreams
Soft rain on the window
A cool breeze at 8:49pm
A voice sings softly in the adjacent room
A pencil scratches out a disjointed line
The stars move and cry out
The insects scurry to a new location
We're all somewhere on the Spectrum
A muffled sob
Four children laugh under the stairs and
Elderly ladies meet at that new deli four blocks away
And converse in undertones
Revealing old secrets
The ocean is silent and contemplates returning the dead
The wind tells a new story
While the journalist struggles to get it all down
He can hear it all
He's breathing in the magic dust of the long, repetitive days
He's writing it down
He's singing your daydreams

about

Wire Bluthe Morisset, Australia

Wire Bluthe is an eccentric, an enigma and a true Australian larrikin. But first and foremost he's a storyteller. Bluthe can often be heard saying "Never let the truth get in the way of a good yarn" That philosophy is the yardstick across an album that deals with addiction, loss, childhood memories , nostalgia and rediscovery. ... more
